Loop 101 Lane Restrictions

Ongoing restrictions: The westbound Loop 101 frontage road (Beardsley Road) between 33rd and 51st avenues and the eastbound frontage road between 33rd Avenue and I-17 will be narrowed to one lane through Feb. 7.(link)

Citrus Season is here

It is quickly approach the time of year when you start to hear ‘hey, want any grapefruit/oranges/lemons? I have thousands I won’t use.’

If you’re having trouble finding an outlet for your citrus, St. Mary’s Food Bank is accepting it. (link)

Sierra Verde Park

Renovations are underway at Sierra Verde Park near 71st Avenue & Rose Garden Lane. Some of the facilities are fenced off, however the playground is still open and available for use.

Driver arrested in deadly crash

A woman suspected of driving her car into the front room of an Arrowhead home has been arrested is facing second-degree murder charges. (link)

WM Phoenix Open

There is still time to get out and enjoy the WM Phoenix Open. Tickets are limited this year, so it may be a bit harder to get in on Friday & Saturday. Many changes & upgrades have been implemented, be sure you know before you go. (link)

If you’re still looking for ideas for dinner this Valentine’s Day. There are many local restaurants offering specials.

Haldi Indian Cuisine is offer a dinner package for two, for just $99. This offer is available on February 14th & 15th. (link)
