Peoria makes land deal with the State of Arizona
The City of Peoria is pursuing a unique partnership with the Arizona State Land Department to set up 6,700 acres for future development.
Through the agreement, the West Valley municipality will serve as the master planner for the sprawling site and invest an initial $140 million into backbone infrastructure for the area. (link)
Loop 101 Ongoing Restrictions
No closures, but lane restrictions are ongoing at the the 51st and 35th avenue interchanges. (link)

The very popular Postino Wine Cafe announced its grand opening at The Park at 83 on Saturday, January 4. Postino is the third eatery to open at this brand new location, joining Blanco Cocina + Cantina and North Italia. (link & map)
