Tonight is peak viewing of the Perseid Meteor shower

If you find yourself outdoors between midnight and dawn, look up!! The annual Perseid meteor shower will be most active tonight and you could see up to 100 meteors per hour. (link)

Chop5 Salad Kitchen expanding to the Valley

Midwest chain restaurant Chop5 Salad Kitchen has announced plans to expand the Phoenix metro area, with 15 new restaurants, including locations in Peoria. Chop5 is a ‘chef-crafted salad concept, similar to Chipotle.’ (link)

Slick City Action Park

Slick City Action Park has been open for a couple months now and they have some fun events scheduled for this week. Every Wednesday & Friday are Family Fun Day and Homeschool Social. (link)

100 Club 9/11 Challenge

The 100 Club is once again hosting their 9/11 Challenge, where you can pay respect to those who lost there lives by climbing the equivalent of 110 flights of stairs. This years event is on September 7th at Desert Diamond Arena. (link)

It was just announced that country music star Luke Bryan will be the headline show for the 2025 Coors Light Birds Nest, as part of the Waste Management Phoenix Open. (link)
