Beardsley Road Closures

Sections of Beardsley Road will be closed for 24 hours this coming week.

Beardsley Road (frontage road) will be closed daily, from midnight to 11:59 p.m. (24 hours) the following days and locations:

March 10: Westbound between 35th and 51st avenues
March 11: Westbound between 51st and 59th avenues
March 12: Westbound between 59th and 67th avenues
March 13: Westbound between 67th and 75th avenues
March 14: Eastbound between 75th Ave and 73rd avenues

ONGOING RESTRICTIONS: following locations for bridge work and frontage road improvements.

At the 51st and 35th avenue interchanges:

All on- and off-ramps will be narrowed to one lane The left-turn lane for both east- and westbound on-ramps will be narrowed to one lane 51st and 35th avenues will be narrowed to one lane under Loop 101 At the 31st Avenue interchange:

The 31st Avenue shoulders will be closed under Loop 101. Pedestrian access is still available. Frontage roads:

The east- and westbound frontage roads (Beardsley Road) will be narrowed to one lane throughout the project area. The frontage road improvements are expected to be completed in early- to mid-March 2025. (link)

Major investments coming to North Phoenix

TSMC announced an additional $100 billion investment plan, in addition to the $65 billion they have already committed to invest here in Arizona. (link)

May Clinic has announced it will invest $1.9 billion in its North Phoenix campus, at 56th Street & Loop 101. (link)

Inaugural Fire Department Chili Cook-Off

If you’ll be in Downtown Phoenix this Saturday, be sure to stop in for the inaugural chili cook off. All proceeds benefit the Arizona Fire School, helping to enhance firefighter training and safety. Additionally, the winning department will donate to their charity of choice, further giving back to the community. (map)

Speaking of birds, have you seen the livestream of the bald eagle couple in Big Bear Valley in the San Bernardino Mountains of Southern California? They had two of their eggs hatch.
