The WNBA descends on Phoenix this weekend for its All-Star Game festivities. Friday night features the skills challenge & 3 point shooting contest, and the All-Star game on Saturday features the USA Women’s Olympic team versus an All-Star team featuring Angel Reese & Caitlyn Clark. (link)

Proposed Glendale voter initiative would raise wages

Hotel and event center workers in Glendale’s hospitality industry could see wages rise to at least $20 an hour if the proposed initiative is approved by voters this fall. (link)

Beware the attack of the Palo Verde bark beetle

As mentioned in The Arrowhead News on Monday, it is Palo Verde bark beetle season and you may start seeing them. I saw one alright, as it charged out of the rocks and into the street and attempted to maul me!!!!
