City of Peoria NOT pursuing an airport
After spending $500k on a feasibility study, Peoria officials have decided they will not purse developing an airport. (link)
The Clubs at Arrowhead
Beginning on February 1st, The Legend at Arrowhead golf club & Arrowhead Country Club, will be known as The Clubs at Arrowhead. (link)
67th Ave Restrictions
Starting Monday, January 20th, 67th Avenue will be restricted to one lane in each direction, between Avenida Del Sol, south to Patrick Lane, near Mountain Ridge High School. Crews will be working to install water and utility lines in this half-mile stretch of roadway. The project is scheduled to end Tuesday, January 28. (link)
Loop 101 Lane Restrictions
The right lane will be closed nightly from 10pm to 5am on Loop 101 in areas between 35th and 67th avenues, expected to go through January 27th.
The westbound Loop 101 frontage road (Beardsley Road) between 33rd and 51st avenues and the eastbound frontage road between 33rd Avenue and I-17 will be narrowed to one lane nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., through Friday morning, Feb. 7.(link)

The 2025 Barrett-Jackson auto auction is underway! The best car show I’ve ever been to, was the Barrett Jackson auction in Scottsdale. Auctions & events run everyday through January 26th at WestWorld in Scottsdale. (link)
Arizona Car Week is happening Janaury 18th-25th and RM Sotheby’s is hosting an auction on January 23rd & 24th.
28th Annual Arizona Songwriters Gathering
The 28th Annual Arizona Songwriters Gathering presented by the Arizona Songwriters Association and hosted at the Glendale Public Library will take place at the Glendale Main Library on Saturday, January 25, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. (link)
