Loop 101 Expansion to begin in September

We new the expansion of the Loop 101 was coming, now we know construction will begin on September 20th. The project will expand the highway to include four lanes of traffic, plus an HOV lane in both directions from the I-17 to 75th Ave. ADOT estimates the project may take up to two years. (link)

Teens arrested in burglary spree

Glendale police have arrested a group of teens believed to be responsible for a string of burglaries here in Arrowhead Ranch and several other locations. (link)

TRAFFIC ALERT: Expect Delays around Westgate

Former President Trump is hosting a rally at 4pm on Friday at the Desert Diamond Arena in Westgate. Be sure to check the status of traffic on the Loop 101 & The I-10 before & after the rally, as you may meet temporary road closures & delays.

Def Leppard, Journey & Steve Miller Band, TONIGHT!

If you’re looking for something to do tonight, its not too late to get tickets to see three Hall of Fame rock bands in Downtown Phoenix at Chase Field. A friend saw the show a couple weeks ago, and he said they put on an amazing performance. (link)

The first sign of fall, is always in late August even though its still 147° outside. Starbucks released their fall lineup of Pumpkin Spice flavored drinks yesterday. Have you had one yet? I know you did, so did I.😎🤣 (link)

Study finds $429 million economic impact from Final Four

The City of Glendale hosted the 2024 NCAA Men’s Final Four in April, and a study by Arizona State University’s Seidman Research Institute shows the event brought an economic impact of $429 million. (link)
